Why this coffee is special

Exceptional coffee
has a story

Vale da Grama is often called the birthplace of Brazilian specialty coffee, and this Red Catuai comes from Finca Recreio in São Sebastião da Grama, grown at 1,290 metres on volcanic soil and dried in the fruit. Diogo Dias, the fifth generation on the farm, produced it. The cup opens on caramel and chocolate, then turns creamy and nutty, almond and nougat. The medium roast gives it a silky texture and a touch of dried fruit warmth, and the finish is long and clean. It suits anyone who wants a sweet, balanced coffee with a velvety mouthfeel. Recreio was one of the early farms in Brazil's specialty movement and has won multiple Cup of Excellence awards for its consistency and its sustainable practices. Every batch is carefully harvested, dried on patios or raised beds, and traceable from tree to export. Drip, espresso and pour-over all work.
