Gift plans
Can you give a coffee subscription as a gift?
Yes, either of our plans. Start from a plan on this page and the checkout opens as a gift. You pay, and add their name, address and phone; we send the coffee to them.
Monthly gift subscription
It's billed to you each month, from $47, until you stop it. From your account you can skip a delivery, pause or cancel the plan, or change where it goes.
Prepaid gift plan
You pay once for 3, 6, or 12 months (from $130.20 for 3 months), and coffee arrives every month of the plan. It doesn't renew. From your account you can skip a month or change where it goes.

Box or basket
Gift box or gift basket?
A coffee gift box or basket usually packs coffee in with other things, such as mugs or snacks. We don't make either: we roast the coffee.
If you're putting a basket together yourself, a bag from us can be the coffee in it.

What to put in a coffee gift
Start with coffee roasted to order, so it reaches them fresh. Choose whole bean if they grind their own, or a grind that suits their brewer.
Then think about how much they drink. One bag makes a treat, and a plan keeps coffee coming. To choose by taste, start with where it's grown.

How to choose by how they drink
- If they like trying new coffees, give the tasting kit.
- If they drink coffee every day, give a monthly gift subscription, or a prepaid plan if you'd rather pay once.
- If they have a favourite origin, give a bag from that country.
- If you're not sure, a plan lets them try the coffees we rotate through.
Grind
Whole bean or ground?
Whole bean, if they own a grinder: it stays fresh longer. If they don't, choose the grind for how they brew.
Each coffee's page shows the grinds it comes in. For a gift plan, you tell us how they brew and whether to grind it. The tasting kit comes whole bean.
The card
The gift message
Gift plans only. Add a message when you check out, and we write your message on a card for them.
The tasting kit and single bags are ordinary orders, without a message.
Delivery
Sending it
A gift plan ships to their address, and shipping is free on every delivery.
Give us their email and we'll email them about each delivery. Those emails show no price. Leave it blank and they come to you.
To keep it a surprise, we won't contact them at all. Every email comes to you, and you give us delivery instructions so it arrives without giving the surprise away.
A kit or a bag is an ordinary order. Delivery is free across Metro Vancouver with no minimum, and shipping anywhere else in Canada is free on orders over $50.
Once it ships, these are the usual delivery times:
- Metro Vancouver: 2–3 business days
- BC (other): 2–4 business days
- Alberta, Ontario, Quebec: 4–7 business days
- Other provinces/territories: 5–10 business days
Carriers can run late, so treat these as estimates.
