Founder & Head Roaster

MohammadReza
Delvari

Q Grader. Data analyst turned roaster. The person behind every profile, every cupping, and every article on this site.

The path here

From data analytics to the drum roaster

Before coffee, MohammadReza spent years in technology and data analytics, building a career around using data to solve complex problems. The turn came with a cup of specialty espresso — and a question that wouldn't let go: what exactly makes one cup exceptional, and how do you replicate that result consistently?

Beanlytics is his answer — a roastery that treats every variable, from green coffee selection to roast development and brewing, as measurable data that can be optimized. What started in a Vancouver garage grew into a dedicated production roastery in Richmond, British Columbia — same obsession, bigger drum.

Credentials

Q Grader — every coffee earns its place

MohammadReza is a Q Grader, and no coffee joins the lineup without passing through SCA cupping protocols, sensory analysis, and objective quality measurements — the full process is documented on the roasting & quality page.

The roastery works exclusively with traceable single-origin coffees: every bag is linked to its farm, producer, process, elevation, and harvest, roasted to order in small batches so it ships at peak freshness.

Philosophy

Transparent, traceable, seasonal

Great coffee should be transparent, traceable, seasonal, and driven by continuous learning. Every roast profile at Beanlytics is refined through data, cupping, and customer feedback — no profile is ever “done,” only current.

That thinking runs through everything published here too: MohammadReza writes the origin guides, brewing guides, and coffee-science articles in the Coffee Guide.
