Organic Guatemala Specialty Coffee

Product Description

This organic Bicafe lot comes from the Apicuc Cooperative in Huehuetenango, one of Guatemala’s best-known coffee regions, with farms between 1,500 and 1,900 metres. Cool mountain air meets warm daytime breezes there, and the cherry ripens slowly and evenly as a result.

It is fully washed and sun-dried, and it cups the way Huehuetenango usually does: milk chocolate first, then delicate florals and a citrus brightness closer to mandarin than to lemon. The body is medium, enough to carry the sweetness without flattening the acidity. Filter and pour-over suit it best.

The lot is certified organic and processed collectively by Apicuc’s smallholders, hand-picked and washed before it dries on patios.
