Product Description:
From the highlands of Jalapa, Guatemala, this washed lot is cultivated by Abel Ortiz, a third-generation farmer and one of the founding members of the Café Colis Resistencia group. His farm, El Aguacate, sits at 1650 meters above sea level, where he grows primarily Pache San Ramon, with recent successful harvests of Pacas starting in 2022.

As a community-driven grower, Abel has been instrumental in bringing his group’s coffees to international markets since 2019. His dedication to soil health, selective planting, and traditional washed processing results in a cup that is clean, sweet, and elegant—a true representation of his craft and resilience.
